1-2-Access Limited was established in 2000 when Morten
Lamoey realised there was a gap in the market for an off the shelf Service
Management Software package. Prior to that Morten had worked full time as IT
manager with various service companies world wide including the Oil Field
Service giant Schlumberger;
which in 1998 had over 400 Gas Service & Heating Engineers based in the UK
undertaking Service & Installation work in both the private and public sectors.
During 2001, Alan Atkinson, formally Service Manager with BGS and
M&N, joined forces with Morten and together the 1-2-Access partnership was born.
Fusing both IT and Operations Service Delivery skills – resulting in our very
first version of our software product named ServiceMax.
Over the passed eight years our experience and knowledge within the
Industry, along with our contacts, has helped us develop ServiceMax and the
family of related software for our growing list of clients. The way we achieve this, primarily,
is by establishing excellent working relationships with our customers,
co-operating closely as new functions are agreed, developed and tested before
being made available for general release. In this way a constant improvement
cycle is established; we discuss, design, plan, test, review and improve – and
the cycle continues.
This means that if a customer has a related requirement or problem,
we are able to suggest a solution and deliver it quickly. Many of our users
confirm after moving across to us that many other system providers have trouble
in understanding their detailed requirements and delivering solutions in a
timely manner, often at great expense.
WWe never sit back on our laurels: As new technologies become
affordable, like mobile data communications, we strive to implement solutions
that meet our customer’s demands and desires for improved efficiency,
flexibility and reduced running costs. Currently we have over 300 Engineers
using our Mobile Data Solution (MobileMax) capturing signatures and important
data out in the field which in turn delivers instance feedback to the office
helping to improve work and cash flow as well as securing workload.
Our range of packages supports solo users all the way up to 300
Engineer sized Service Providers./span>
